Independent tests reveal a Janka hardness rating of over 14KN – this proves to be 45% harder than jarrah.
The result is a renewable flooring product that has the look and feel of a conventional hardwood floor. Due to the added performance benefits, Style has created on of the hardest flooring products in the world.
The following graph provides and indicative view of the various products.
The Janka hardness test measures the force required to embed a .444-inch steel ball to half its diameter in the wood. It is one of the best measures of the ability of a wood species to withstand denting and wear.

Strand woven bamboo flooring is available in natural, coffee and suede.

Tongue and groove: 1830mm long X 96mm wide X 12mm thick.
Solid click floor: 1830mm long X 130mm wide X 12mm thick.
Finishes.
6 coats of quality 4th generation coating.
A combination of Klumpp and Bayer technology. Durable Klumpp coatings low gloss finish system provides the war protection of aluminium oxide with two polyurethane scratch resistant top coats. Coating is water based and solvent free and meets the US European (E1) standards of off-gassing.
Density.
BSB natural – 993kg/m3 and BSB coffee – 1030kg/m3

Moisture Content.

Dimensional Stability.
ASTM D1037 lineal stability produced the following results at 90% RH. Expansion parallel of 0.15%. Expansion perpendicular of 2.16% and thickness swell of 1.39%

Installation.
Staple, float or glue is recommended using the Sika product T55 or Unlin clic.
